What kind of trucks do you have?
You will drive a brand-new Volvo VNL 860 sleeper. Each truck is assigned, so there is no slip seating.
What amenities are in the trucks?
Our Volvo VNL 860 sleepers are fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, inverter, and Apple CarPlay® / Android Auto™.
How much home time can I get?
Most drivers are out at least 3 weeks between home time. We make every reasonable effort to honor home time requests.
What kind of freight will I be hauling?
You will be hauling 53’ dry van trailers, primarily drop & hook with some live load/live unload, through the Forward Air network.
Do I have to take loads I don't want?
No, there is no forced dispatch. You can select available freight and choose the loads you want to run.
What are the requirements to drive for you?
You need 1 year of Class A CDL tractor-trailer experience, a good MVR/safe driving history, and must pass a DOT drug screen. A Hazmat endorsement is preferred.
Is orientation paid?
Yes, orientation is paid.
